Description
A genuine Pfauter — from the company that invented gear hobbing
This Pfauter SF1 comes from the company founded by the man who literally invented and patented the modern gear hobbing process, in Chemnitz, Germany in 1897. Pfauter’s name became so synonymous with the process that machinists still use it informally as shorthand for gear hobbing machines generally — and the company continues today as Gleason-Pfauter, still a leader in gear manufacturing technology.
