Refund Policy

1. Overview

Tool Room Trader is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of machinery and equipment. Tool Room Trader is not a party to any transaction of a third party listing between buyers and sellers.

All purchases are made directly between users, and as such, refunds are handled exclusively between the buyer and the seller.

2. No Platform-Managed Refunds

Tool Room Trader:

  • ❌ Does not process refunds
  • ❌ Does not guarantee refunds under any circumstances

If you wish to request a refund after competition of purchase, you must contact the seller directly to discuss and resolve the matter.

3. Buyer Responsibility

Before purchasing, buyers are responsible for:

  • Carefully reviewing listing details and descriptions
  • Confirming the condition, specifications, and suitability of the item
  • Clarifying any questions with the seller prior to purchase
  • Agreeing on payment, delivery, and refund terms with the seller

Once a purchase is completed, any refund request must be negotiated directly with the seller.

4. Seller Refund Terms

Each seller may set their own refund, return, or exchange policies. These terms:

  • Should be clearly stated in the listing or agreed upon prior to purchase
  • May vary between sellers
  • Are solely the responsibility of the seller to honour

Tool Room Trader does not enforce individual seller refund policies.

5. Commissions & Platform Fees

  • All commissions, listing fees, and service fees paid to Tool Room Trader are strictly non-refundable
  • Listing Fee’s on TRT Managed Sales are exempt. This fee is refundable upon successful sale and payment of commission as per the Exclusive Selling Agreement.
  • Fees are charged for access to the platform and listing services, not for the successful outcome of a sale

6. Disputes

Any disputes regarding refunds, returns, or transactions must be resolved directly between the buyer and the seller.

Tool Room Trader:

  • Is not responsible for mediating disputes
  • Does not guarantee resolutions
  • May provide general guidance at its discretion, but has no obligation to intervene

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Tool Room Trader is not liable for any loss, damage, or financial claims arising from transactions conducted on the platform
  • This includes disputes relating to refunds, product condition, misrepresentation, or non-delivery

8. Acceptance of Terms

By using Tool Room Trader, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Refunds are not handled by the platform
  • All refund requests must be directed to the seller
  • Platform fees and commissions are non-refundable
