Return & Exchange Policy

1. Overview

Tool Room Trader is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of machinery and equipment and may also offer selected machinery from our own inventory. For third party listings, Tool Room Trader acts as a marketing and sales platform and does not take possession of or handle the equipment unless stated otherwise.

All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. As such, cancellations, returns, and exchanges are solely the responsibility of the buyer and seller.

2. No Platform Involvement

Tool Room Trader:

  • ❌ Does not manage cancellations
  • ❌ Does not accept or process returns
  • ❌ Does not facilitate exchanges
  • ❌ Does not guarantee any outcome related to these requests

All requests must be handled directly between the buyer and the seller.

3. Cancellations

  • Any request to cancel a purchase must be made directly with the seller
  • Approval of cancellations is entirely at the seller’s discretion
  • Buyers should confirm cancellation terms before completing a transaction

Tool Room Trader has no involvement in cancelling orders or agreements.

4. Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns and exchanges are not managed by Tool Room Trader
  • Each seller may set their own return/exchange policy, if any
  • Buyers must contact the seller directly to request a return or exchange

All terms, conditions, and costs associated with returns or exchanges must be agreed between the buyer and seller.

5. Condition & Inspection Responsibility

Buyers are strongly encouraged to:

  • Use the 3rd party inspection process before purchase where possible
  • Request detailed information, photos, or videos
  • Confirm condition, specifications, and suitability

Once a transaction is completed, any issues must be resolved directly with the seller.

6. Costs & Logistics

  • Any costs related to cancellations, returns, or exchanges (including transport, handling, or restocking fees) are not covered by Tool Room Trader
  • These costs must be negotiated between the buyer and seller

7. Disputes

  • Any disputes must be resolved directly between the buyer and seller
  • Tool Room Trader is not responsible for mediating or resolving disputes
  • We may provide general guidance at our discretion but have no obligation to intervene

8. Fees & Commissions

  • All listing fees, commissions, and platform fees are non-refundable
  • Fees are charged for access to the platform, not for the outcome of transactions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Tool Room Trader is not liable for any claims arising from cancellations, returns, or exchanges
  • This includes disputes relating to product condition, change of mind, incorrect purchases, or dissatisfaction

10. Acceptance of Terms

By using Tool Room Trader, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All cancellations, returns, and exchanges are handled outside the platform
  • Tool Room Trader has no responsibility or liability for these processes
  • You release Tool Room Trader from any claims related to these matters
